CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS
Children's Sunday Mornings
Preschool through 5th Grade
Children are welcome to join our Sunday School program at any time. Please fill out the simple registration form HERE.
Sunday School classes begin at 9:45 a.m. ahead of the 10 a.m. Holy Eucharist. Exceptions include Family Services, holidays and summer break.
Students rotate between a lesson, craft activity and music. A group project or games follow. Children then join their families in church when the Peace is exchanged.
This year we're using the Seedlings Inc. curriculum. Our units of study include Our Church Family, Moses, Saints, The Early Life of Jesus, Jerusalem and Parables.

Youth Music
Children have several opportunities to praise God through music at St. Andrew’s. New singers are always welcome!
The Youth Choir is open to singers from kindergarten through eight grade. Membership in the church is not required for children to join the Youth Choir. Our rehearsals begin after Communion and run until 11:30 a.m. Singers gather in the Youth Choir room, on the lower level to sing together. The Youth Choir performs the songs they rehearse, in the church during our Family Services and on special holidays.
All Sunday School students get the opportunity to learn music as part of their lessons. The songs they learn coordinate with the theme of the lesson that day. Questions? Please contact our Youth Music Director
Chris Stansbury at cpstansbury3@gmail.com or 630-464-2643.
Nursery
The Youth Music Director, Miss Chris, visits the nursery most weeks throughout the school year for music time. Everyone makes music together as part of a mini church school lesson. They play instruments, hear stories, wave scarves, and play musical movement games using skills and activities from the Musik Garten curriculum for churches called God’s Children Sing, and other music resources.
Vacation Bible School
St. Andrew's offers a week-long Vacation Bible School each summer for children in preschool through fourth grade. We also welcome volunteers to help during that time of learning, singing and fun. For more information, contact Hannah Andrews at hannah.sire@wheaton.edu.

Baptism
Holy Baptism is administered on designated Sundays during Holy Eucharist.
Holy Baptism is especially appropriate at the Easter Vigil service, on the Day of Pentecost, on All Saints’ Day or the following Sunday, on the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord (the first Sunday after Epiphany) and during the Bishop’s visitation.
Godparents must be baptized Christians, and should be actively involved in a local church community.
Please call the Parish Office to arrange for your child's baptism and to schedule pre-baptismal instruction.
